General Information
Ein kleines Gasthaus, gebaut im Jahre 1950 vom Schweizer Maler Edwin Hunziker. Dieser hat ein antikes äolianisches Haus neu gestaltet und dekoriert. Das Haus befindet sich in einem grossen grünen Park voller Olivenbäume und Zitruspflanzen. Heute gehört das Haus der Familie des Künstlers, die es in derselben Art der einfachen und herzlichen Gastfreundschaft des Gründers weiterführt.
Vom Garten und von den grossen Terrassen des Hauses geniesst man eine ausgesprochen schöne Aussicht auf das Meer, auf die Stadt Lipari und den Burgberg (Akropolis). Die wunderbare Lage, die weitläufige Anlage und die sie umgebende Stille macht aus der Villa Diana das ideale Gasthaus für Erholung und Ferien. Der Salon und ein Teil der Zimmer sind mit antiken Möbelstücken eingerichtet und bilden eine regelrechte Austellung der Gemälde des Gründers. Alle Zimmer sind komfortabel mit Terrassen und Ausblick auf den Garten. Sie verfügen über Badezimmer mit Duschen und Telephon. Das Gasthaus ist 400m von der Hauptstrasse und ungefähr 1km vom Meer und vom Hafen entfernt, verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz, eine eigene Bocciabahn und Tennisplätze.

The hotel is the ideal oasis from which to depart for visiting Lipari and the other islands. His founder, the Swiss painter Edwin Hunziker, has realized the hotel inserting it in an ample park of ulivi and citrus fruit, using an ancient farmer's house eoliana, in the respect of the architecture of the Eolian Islands . The hall and part of the rooms are furnished with ancient forniture and are an original art gallery of the paintings of the founder and the whole necessary confort for a relaxant vacation.
The rooms, ample and bright, have all deprived bath, terrace, balcony or window. To the outside, besides the great terraces, there is an ample park with tennis field, field of bottles, table tennis, besides the parking for the cars. In front of You, from the terraces of the Villa Diana will have a fantastic wiew on the town of Lipari, the Castle and the sea.

From the horbour take the direction for Pianoconte. To the Km. 0,500 of the Provincial Road, as soon as above the Street G.Marconi, turn to the left at the street Tufo and you will have arrived to Villa Diana. Villa Diana is far from the horbour only 800 meters.
