Attivita' sportive - Agrigento in Sicilia
Ad Agrigento è possibile praticare tantissime attività sportive tutto l'anno, ma in estate impazzano in particolare gli sport "da spiaggia" e quelli estremi come Wind Surf, Kite, Parapendio, Deltaplano in volo libero e a motore, Mountain Bike, Beach Volley, Surf da onda, oltre ai classici calcio e calcetto, basket, tennis ecc. Praticare Wind Surf, Kite, Surf da Onda e Canoa è possibile presso le spiagge di San Leone, ove sono allocate anche diverse strutture per il noleggio delle attrezzatura e la loro custodia.
Le immersioni e le pescate subacquee si svolgono presso la secca di Vasciu Funnu, a circa tre miglia dalla costa, su profondità che variano dai -6 ai -40 metri. Gli sport come Deltaplano e Parapendio trovano nelle immediate vicinanze di Agrigento ottime alture con piste di decollo naturali. Per gli amanti delle due ruote, l'hinterland agrigentino offre piste e scenari di tutti i livelli di difficoltà ma col comune denominatore dell'integrità assoluta dei luoghi.
